We are looking for a Backend Lead (JAVA) to join a global team of 1,000+ professionals with a tech hub in Vietnam.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently drive change delivery through requirement analysis, definition, and documentation.
• Identify potential solutions using agile delivery frameworks.
• Collaborate in small agile teams with a clear mission and ownership.
• Align with stakeholders on best practices regarding APIs, security, compliance, roadmap, and reliability.
• Direct the technical aspects of software features.
• Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable APIs for high-volume transactions.
• Focus on end-to-end ownership, continuous improvement, testing, monitoring, and experimentation.

Requirements:

• Pragmatic mindset.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices.
• 8+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years of Java experience preferred.
• Understanding of system design and tuning for high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Strong database and schema design skills for large-scale and finance systems.
• Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, message queue systems, and cloud enterprise architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in English.
