Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Psychology Department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing clinical services, conducting research, and contributing to the academic mission of the department.

Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Services:

    • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
    • Assess and diagnose psychological disorders in diverse populations.
    • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  2. Teaching and Supervision:

    • Instruct undergraduate and graduate-level psychology courses.
    • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to psychology students and interns.
    • Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  3. Research:

    • Engage in independent and collaborative research projects.
    • Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
    • Contribute to the ongoing development of the department's research agenda.
  4. Community Outreach:

    • Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with local healthcare organizations.
  5. Administrative Duties:

    • Assist in the development and evaluation of psychology programs.
    • Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
    • Contribute to accreditation processes and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  • Strong research background with a record of publications and conference presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
