Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Psychology Department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing clinical services, conducting research, and contributing to the academic mission of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Services:
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Assess and diagnose psychological disorders in diverse populations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Teaching and Supervision:
- Instruct undergraduate and graduate-level psychology courses.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to psychology students and interns.
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- Research:
- Engage in independent and collaborative research projects.
- Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the department's research agenda.
- Community Outreach:
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local healthcare organizations.
- Administrative Duties:
- Assist in the development and evaluation of psychology programs.
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
- Contribute to accreditation processes and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist.
- Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.
- Strong research background with a record of publications and conference presentations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
