As a safety consultant, you will be trained with a vigorous program set out by HQ to be an expert in machinery safety services field. You will be based in Ho Chi Minh city, but occasionally travel in Southeast Asia region, to deliver machinery safety services for our clients and help them automate their machines to be safer, more productive and digitalized. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing and application to ensure customer needs are met.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Conduct risk assessments of machinery and systems to identify potential hazards, evaluate risks, provide risk mitigation suggestions and develop safety concepts to ensure that they are compliant with international and local safety standards

Create safety requirement specification and performance level verification report

Perform safety verification, safety validation and other safety services

Provide prompt support to sales team on safety services and solutions to meet customer specific needs

Act as a safety champion and transfer safety knowledge to internal team and customers to promote product and solutions

Deliver training regarding all aspects of machinery safety

Participate company events, roadshows and exhibitions when required

Other duties to be assigned by immediate supervisor

JOB QUALIFICATION:

Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline

At least 3 years working experience related to industrial process or manufacturing, safety consulting, workplace health and safety or a related field.

Good knowledge of industrial systems and process

Knowledge of machinery safety standards (e.g. ISO 12100, ISO 13849) will be an added advantage

Some understanding of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings

Knowledge or experience in industrial automation will be an added advantage

Good team player with a can-do attitude

Mature and independent with good interpersonal and communication skills

Honesty, integrity and hard work

Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Willingness to write detail technical reports

Willingness to travel within South East Asia
