Sales & Office Manager

Main tasks:

  • Primary responsibility of leading and administrating areas of Business development, operations, office administration and promotion of all Companys activities in the North of Vietnam
  • Development of short and long-range goals for client development and market penetration
  • Developing and enhancing customers and customer relations in Hanoi
  • Directing the overall administration of Hanoi office staff
  • Support in negotiation, preparation, and execution of all contracts and agreements entered into by the global, regional and local management.
  • Be current on all legislative developments that could or will affect the business climate locally
  • Maintaining a liaison and good commercial relationships with other global offices offices around the world to increase the networks business
  • Hiring, training and mentoring staff members in Hanoi to ensure that the company will grow

Staff relations and training

  • To develop and retain key staff.
  • To monitor and assess staff performance
  • To hire and train new staff

To do reports

  • To report in a timely manner the monthly sales numbers
  • To report on won/loss business while evaluation bad business
  • To create and help evaluate reports on internal KPIs for sales targets and country vietnam internally agreed business targets

Required years of professional experience:

  • Min. 7 years in a freight forwarding company, preferably medium sized
  • Min. 2 years in Manager role managing staff
  • Experience in Chemical logistics a major advantage but not a restriction
  • Ability to showcase track record of sales and also possible pipeline of customers
  • Strong track record in business development, sales and growing a team
  • Ability to take over multiple responsibilities in operation, accounting, office administration, human resources, marketing etc.
  • Ability to scale a business while leading and motivating the team
  • Ability to work in a different cultural environment, being open minded to cultural challenges
  • Taking over the responsibility that entails precise and regular reporting to MD about changes and opportunities, having analytic skills to steer the business
  • Ability to actively explore new opportunities, prepare offers, concepts and being able to present them successfully
  • Development and maintaining of customer and vendor relationships
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the market
  • Having good communication skills understanding people, what drives them and how to work together as a team
  • Maintaining and actively seeking to connect the people in Hanoi with Ho Chi Minh City branch
