JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties & Responsibilities

1. To translate the organizations goals and objectives into departmental strategies and action plans.

2. To ensure the organizations goals and objectives are met and if otherwise, to formulate contingency plans.

3. To delegate responsibility to the Specialists to successfully carry out such action plans.

4. To monitor and verify the progress of such plans.

5. To provide the communication link between the organization and the employees

6. To communicate to the employees the organizations directions, goals and objectives.

7. To reinforce the Specialists in materials and production planning to meet customers requirement.

8. To set up production schedules and ensure that production is running smoothly

9. Identify bottlenecks in the flow and make contingency plans.

10. To ensure full execution of action plan.

11. To motivate the Specialists to lead the employees to achieve performance and quality targets.

12. To identify areas for improvement and activate the relevant support groups such as engineering, materials planning, etc to implement the improvements.

13. To identify and justify for new production equipment.

14. To identify training needs for the Specialists and Technicians.

15. To project manpower requirement and formulate recruitment plans for implementation to develop the next level.

16. Abide by the companys safety rules and regulations.

17. Carry out duties in accordance with Quality Policy, EHS control procedures and WIs

18. Be aware of significant EHS risks, actual or potential of their work activities

19. Report to superiors the EHS concerns, incident and accidents that arise

20. Ensure that the requirements of EHS management system is implemented and maintained within the department.

21. To ensure Customer Satisfaction in his and employees work.

Position Specification

Qualification:

Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Mechatronics or

Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering

Experience:

Possesses 8 years of manufacturing experience in the assembly or related industries. (Diploma) or

Possesses 5 years of manufacturing experience in the assembly or related industries. (Degree)
