Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy:
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives and the investment goals.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making processes.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Investor Relations:
- Serve as a key liaison with investors, providing timely and transparent financial reporting and updates.
- Support fundraising activities and communication with potential investors.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
- Capital Management:
- Oversee capital allocation and investment strategies, working closely with the executive team and private equity partners to optimize financial resources.
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):
- Evaluate potential M&A opportunities, conducting financial due diligence and contributing to negotiations.
- Lead financial integration efforts for acquired entities.
- Financial Operations:
- Streamline and optimize financial operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement robust financial controls and processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a healthcare or life sciences organization.
- Previous experience working with private equity investors is highly desirable.
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
