Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Strategy:

    • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives and the investment goals.
    • Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making processes.
  2. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

    • Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
    • Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  3. Investor Relations:

    • Serve as a key liaison with investors, providing timely and transparent financial reporting and updates.
    • Support fundraising activities and communication with potential investors.
  4. Risk Management:

    • Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
  5. Capital Management:

    • Oversee capital allocation and investment strategies, working closely with the executive team and private equity partners to optimize financial resources.
  6. Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):

    • Evaluate potential M&A opportunities, conducting financial due diligence and contributing to negotiations.
    • Lead financial integration efforts for acquired entities.
  7. Financial Operations:

    • Streamline and optimize financial operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Implement robust financial controls and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a healthcare or life sciences organization.
  • Previous experience working with private equity investors is highly desirable.
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
