Position:  Chief Nursing Officer (Open Expat)

Leadership & Management:

  • SOP Development & Review: Ensure adherence to regulations and promote safe practices.
  • Patient Care Monitoring & Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Hospital Committee Participation: Contribute to nursing practice and accreditation efforts.
  • Budget Management: Oversee Nursing Services budget and assist Nurse Managers.
  • Staffing & Bed Planning: Align with Business Plan and Expansion Plan.
  • New Service Implementation: Participate in feasibility studies.

Quality & Continuous Improvement:

  • Regular Ward Rounds & Report Review: Implement corrective action as needed.
  • Incident Reporting & Resolution: Review reports and implement solutions.
  • Quality Improvement Initiatives: Develop and monitor, including infection control.
  • Cost-Conscious Approach: Promote efficient resource utilization.

Employee Development & Performance:

  • Recruitment & Termination (with HR): Assist in policy development and candidate approval.
  • Staff Transfers & Changes: Recommend and manage within Nursing Service.
  • Performance Evaluation & Career Guidance: Participate and provide guidance.
  • Education & Skill Development: Collaborate with Nursing Education.
  • Continuous Education & Improvement: Identify key areas and monitor progress.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Feedback Investigation & Action: Ensure thorough investigation and address concerns.
  • Work Process Improvement: Use data analysis and feedback to improve.
  • Customer Satisfaction Initiatives: Oversee and implement.

Clinical Services:

  • Nurse Manager Support: Assist in daily operations and responsibilities.
  • Clinical Decision-Making: Participate and ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Evidence-Based Practice: Promote its use and best practices within the department.

Qualifications:

  • State-registered nurse with 10+ years of experience (5+ in senior management).
  • Master's or Degree in Nursing.
  • Proven expertise in nursing administration and hospital management.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles and general business management.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
