Area Sales Manager - Southern Region

 Job Description:

Reporting to General Sales Manager, the Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible to help our distributor to sell our brand batteries in the market. The ASM will be responsible in servicing major key accounts and distributors. The ASM will plan and execute promo plans to meet sales targets. He/She will also build and foster good relationships with retailers and distributors to ensure business continuation.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement activities, sales plans to ensure sales targets are achieved
  • Drive key accounts and chains expansion by planning and executing sales promotions and strategies within budget allocated
  • Take personal responsibility to achieve sales targets and follow through by completing all aspects of sales admin.
  • Cooperate with buyers and business partners to build and meet monthly sales targets
  • Identify opportunities and establish new business; Acquire new customers
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with buyers and business partners to ensure business continuation i.e repeat orders
  • Manage the performance of key accounts and customers orders;
  • Oversees and manage sales operations i.e store coverage, merchandising, order & collection, optimal POSM display, monitoring stores stock level and space negotiation
  • Collect and analyze customers sales performance report, market information and trends to share with GSM on regular basis

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in FMCG industry. Candidates with experience in batteries category will have an added advantage
  • Min. Diploma or above in Sales & Marketing / Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Hands-on Modern Trade retailer/key account management. Familiar with General Trade.
  • Experienced and able to manage entrepreneurs (Indirect distributions partners) to run effective programs in close cooperation with company
  • Possesses strong motivational skills and training skills to help account and distributors sales reps to achieve our sales targets
  • Results oriented and proactive in proposing solutions to solve issues
  • Energetic, pro-active, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be Vietnamese mother tongue and ability to speak English will be an added advantage

Working hours

Mon Sat 8am to 5pm (including 1 hour lunch break)
