 Job Description:

Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing the laboratory.

Oversee projects that assess, develop, and implement new technologies, tests, and laboratory systems within the PGD Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

      1.    Ensure all scientific staff and laboratory operations comply with relevant laws, safety codes, and internal guidelines.

      2.    Work closely with the Scientific Director to identify long-term goals, strategic improvements, and the innovation necessary to meet them.

      3.    Facilitate continual improvements within the company or department by implementing new initiatives and optimizing current processes.

      4.    Participate in quality management by adhering to quality policies and all relevant regulations.

      5.    Promptly report incidents and adverse events through the electronic reporting system.

      6.    Promote a culture of continuous improvement and risk management within the workplace.

      7.    Ensure workplace safety by following health and safety policies as per relevant Work, Health, and Safety Act and Regulations.

      8.    Train and develop staff, while promoting a positive work environment.

      9.    Encourage collaboration across departments and facilitate communication.

      10.   Approve purchase orders for the department following company policies.

      11.   Perform recruitment and oversee the induction of new staff.

      12.   Review and monitor productivity and quality KPIs in collaboration with the Pathology Manager.

      13.   Report on monthly Lab Performance Measures (LPM).

Critical Competencies, Experience, and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a relevant science field from an accredited institution.

Experience in Molecular Genetics, with an emphasis on PGD and genetic testing technologies.

Proficiency in maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to intellectual property standards.

 Strong organizational skills and the ability to solve problems independently and in teams.

 Meticulous attention to detail with an understanding of QAP schemes.

Ability to manage laboratory processes, suggest improvements, and provide feedback to the Scientific Director.

Demonstrated leadership and time management skills.

Sound knowledge of data interpretation and quality improvement principles.

Ability to function effectively with all stakeholders.

  Experience in NGS technology and molecular genetics testing.

A member of a professional body related to genetics or laboratory sciences is preferred.

Required Qualifications:

 Medical Technologist License (Thailand).

Verified Medical Technologist in Genomic Medicine (Thailand).

Bachelors or Masters degree/PhD in Molecular Genetics, Human Genetics, Biology, or related fields.

Experience with PGT-A and PGT-M technologies

 Salary Package:

฿ 85,000.00 - 100,000.00 (Thai Baht)
