Position: Sales Operation Manager (SOM)

- Job Objective (Job Summary):
Responsible for overseeing and managing sales operations. This includes collaborating to define sales strategies, action plans, sales targets, and sales budgets. The role also involves supervising, monitoring the performance of the sales team, developing and supporting sales operations, and preparing sales reports to help ensure the company sales goals are met. - Roles and Responsibilities:
3.1 Strategy Development, Planning, and Budgeting:
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager, Marketing Department, and Product Manager to formulate and evaluate sales strategies based on the company's objectives, market characteristics, and other factors.
- Develop sales action plans, processes, and procedures in coordination with the Sales Manager.
- Plan and allocate the sales budget with the Sales Manager.
- Set sales targets by area, product, and individual together with the Sales Manager.
3.2 Monitoring and Supervising Sales Team Performance:
- Oversee the work of the sales team by area, individual, and product, including pricing and customer collections.
- Monitor performance indicators to ensure they align with sales and collection strategies and goals.
- Provide guidance and problem-solving support to the sales team.
- Forecast sales by gathering data from the sales team, analyzing it, and coordinating with relevant departments to plan sales and production activities.
3.3 Sales Operations Development:
- Analyze and evaluate sales performance, methods, and expenses in comparison to plans and budgets.
- Develop and coordinate with the sales team regarding operational procedures and reporting.
- Develop the sales team through training and knowledge-sharing related to sales, markets, and products.
3.4 Sales Reporting:
- Prepare and present reports for management regarding sales status, collections, customer information, and project statuses.
- Report on sales performance by area, individual, product, pricing, and collections.
- Analyze sales successes and provide recommendations to management.
- Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Applied Statistics, or related fields.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in sales analysis, sales of consumer goods, or sales operations.
- Skills:
- Strong data analysis and forecasting skills.
- Strategic planning skills.
- Sales planning and budgeting expertise.
- Territory management skills.
- Sales reporting proficiency.
- Ability to motivate and drive the team to meet targets.
- Understanding of the fertilizer industry market.
