Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the product costing process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines and group requirements
• Coordinate with relevant departments to gather necessary data for precise costings.
• Conduct detailed analysis to identify discrepancies and variances by comparing data with previous products.
• Explain variances and support stakeholders in resolving issues by identifying root causes and proposing solutions.
• Identify areas for improvement within costing processes and support automation initiatives.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline and optimize costing operations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support decision-making through data analysis and insights.
• Analyze product performance against financial targets and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of all costing data and ensure efficient data management.
• Conduct ad hoc cost evaluations and ensure timely completion of these projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in costing, financial analysis, or business analysis; manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and offer clear solutions.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal) with strong collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Skilled in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of product costing methodologies and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; familiarity with ERP systems and costing software is a plus.
