Finance Manager

We are looking for a Finance Talent with diverse experiences through different assignments across categories and countries to develop skill sets of a holistic Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will be accountable for management reporting and financial analysis, participate in forecasting processes, and support in planning and implementing new business initiatives.

The Finance Manager will also craft and provide insightful analysis to support business unit leaders in identifying commercial and financial improvement opportunities.

Job Description

This role works closely with the Finance Controller on budgeting and financial planning.

• Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses, studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Improves financial status by analyzing results; supervising variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
• Conduct financial analysis to influence business decisions & strategies to drive long-term value creation.
• Championing productivity via cost analysis process by recommending actions to address optimization opportunities.
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data to ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting.
• Consolidation of Accounts.
• Manage internal and external audits.
• Prepare quarterly financial reporting/analysis packages to management and submit to NASDAQ stock exchange and attend to ad-hoc queries/requests.
• Review monthly entity-level management accounts prepared by the regional team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Increases efficiency by developing or implementing automated solutions & processes.
• Experience in eCommerce/digital would be beneficial.
• Handling project accounting

Requirements

• A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA/MBA preferred
• 7 10 years of proven track record in managing high volume P&L budget across a matrix organization with high level of agility; entry level candidates with a university degree in the relevant field can be considered
• Detailed understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles.
• Good understanding of IFRS/GAAP and experience in group consolidation accounting.
• Ability to multi-task and work in an exciting fast paced environment.
• Maturity, integrity, and high level of discretion are required.
• Independent worker and analytical problem solver with an ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve sophisticated problems.
• Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership.
• Financial modeling expertise a plus.
• Experience in eCommerce/digital would be beneficial.
