Job Title: Plant Director ( Agricultures), Ayudhaya

Job Overview:

The Plant Director is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining safety and environmental standards. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, project management, and budget control to achieve the plant's operational objectives in alignment with the companys goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Direct and oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
    • Ensure that production schedules are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Implement performance metrics to monitor production efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align plant objectives with overall business goals.
    • Identify and adopt new technologies and best practices to optimize plant operations.
  • Maintenance Management:
    • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure machinery and equipment operate reliably and efficiently.
    • Develop and manage maintenance plans that support production goals while minimizing downtime.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.
  • Project and Infrastructure Management:
    • Manage projects related to the construction, improvement, and installation of machinery and equipment.
    • Ensure efficient use of resources and timely project completion while adhering to quality standards.
    • Oversee the management of project budgets, ensuring expenditures remain within budgetary limits.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers, supervisors, and staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
    • Promote teamwork and effective communication across all levels of the plant.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training opportunities for employees.
  • Budget and Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the plant's budget, including operational costs, capital expenditures, and maintenance expenses.
    • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve financial objectives.
    • Drive cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
    • Ensure the plant operates in full compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures to promote a safe work environment.
    • Lead efforts to minimize the environmental impact of plant operations.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the production process.
    • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any issues related to product quality.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, detailing production performance, safety metrics, and financial status.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making data-driven decisions to enhance operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Thai nationality
    • Strong experience in manufacturing management in a senior leadership role.
    • Proven experience in managing large-scale manufacturing operations with transformation project is prefer.
    • Good English communication skill
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent financial acumen with a track record of managing budgets and controlling costs.
    • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
    • Ability to analyze data and performance metrics to drive operational improvements.
    • Proficient in relevant software applications
