Regional Solution Manager-FMCS, South East Asia

Job Description and principal tasks

• Consulting customer and company global sales organization with Automation and Line Solutions expertise to gain market share.
• Customer visits on initiative of our daughter companies or on own initiative together with local Sales team
• Responsible for developing the regional market for Automation and Line Solutions
• Develop go-to-market approaches to accelerate growth in Automation business
• Close coordination of activities with HQ in Germany.
• Sales support role by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects to increase market share in line business
• Intensive working with our field sales team and assist in closing opportunities.
• Defining needs and input for further developing of comany and partner automation portfolio depending on market needs.
• Working in close relationship with local and global partners to quote complete lines.
• Monitoring of competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, etc.
• Developing line solutions that are suitable for the different market segments and countries based on their individual customer needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree / higher in Engineering or related filed
• Experience in automation solutions and line business is key, experience in packaging equipment and food processing equipment are an advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills creating and maintaining a positive dialogue with both customers and colleagues
• Successfully completed studies in the technical field (engineering degree or similar)
  
• Skills in CAD and preparation of simple layouts
• Technical affinity and conceptual thinking
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Able and willing to travel in the SEA region
• Openness to spend an extended period of time at the HQ in Germany for technical training (up to 2 months per training)
• High level of English language skill is a must, German and further language skills are advantageous
