About the Company and Role

Our client is a quantitative trading firm building advanced high-frequency trading (HFT) systems for both traditional and crypto markets. These are ultra-low-latency platforms where nanosecond-level performance is critical.

We are looking for an experienced C++ Developer to strengthen the team working on exchange connectivity and system performance optimization. The role involves deep technical work with low-level exchange protocols, fine-tuning network and application layer interactions, and improving multi-threaded and inter-process communications.

You will be part of a small, focused engineering team that values clean, high-performance code and deep system understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain ultra-low-latency connectivity modules for various exchanges

  • Analyze and optimize network I/O and data flow in real-time systems

  • Improve the architecture and performance of the in-house algorithmic trading platform

  • Work with exchange-specific protocols (FIX/FAST/native) at a low level

  • Collaborate closely with researchers and other developers on end-to-end system performance

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development (modern standards preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems: bash scripting, cmake, git, performance profiling

  • Solid understanding of concurrency, memory management, and IPC

  • Comfortable working with complex, time-critical systems

  • English proficiency: B2+

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with exchange connectivity protocols (FIX/FAST/native APIs)

  • Educational background from MIPT, Yandex School of Data Analysis, or similar

  • Knowledge of .NET Core or C#
