Business Analyst

About the Company and Role

We are searching for a Business Analyst for our client an international software product company in the fintech domain, specializing in a content monetization platform for creators worldwide. The company is rapidly growing and maintains a flat-structured development team of 10 professionals: CTO, Team Lead, 6 developers, QA, and an infrastructure team (DevOps and monitoring).

As the product has achieved profitability and is scaling, the company is expanding its team with a brand-new Business Analyst role.

Location: Remote role (European time zone only).

We are offering:

• Salary: Up to EUR 5000 gross or equivalent in Crypto;

Interview Process:

• HR Screening (30-40 minutes);

What kind of qualifications we are looking for:

• Experience as a System Analyst or Fullstack Analyst in IT (fintech or payment systems experience is mandatory);
• Strong skills in gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements;
• Proficiency in creating user stories, technical specifications, and workflows;
• Proficiency with task management and requirements management tools such as Jira and Confluence;
• Technical English for communication within an international team;
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), API integrations (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML), and data flows;
• Knowledge of microservices and monolithic system architecture;
• Ability to create and interpret diagrams such as UML, BPMN, and sequence diagrams.

Nice to have Requirements:

• Basic understanding of DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document requirements for new platform features;
• Work closely with developers, testers, project managers, and other teams to ensure successful project delivery;
• Support the transition to a microservices architecture with proper documentation;
• Optimize processes aligned with ITSM/ITIL practices;
• Assist in preparing knowledge bases for technical operations;
• Help gather information for PCI DSS certification.
