Job Description:

Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Ibadan

Salary: 250,000

Experience: minimum of 5 Years


Key Requirements:

  • HND/B.Sc. in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resource Management.
  • Professional certification in HR (CIPM, SPHR is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, reference checks, and onboarding.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, and HR events.
  • Maintain and update HR databases with records of new hires, terminations, leaves, and absences.
  • Ensure the company culture is reflected throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Assist with performance management and employee evaluations.
  • Handle employee grievances and complaints effectively.
  • Stay updated on the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Support payroll processing by ensuring employee records are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist in drafting and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Organize and facilitate employee training and development programs.
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work environment.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of HR-related records (both hard and soft copies)
  • Coordinate employee exit processes, including exit interviews and clearance documentation.
