Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities of the organization, ensuring the financial health and long-term growth of the company. The CFO will provide strategic leadership, guidance, and insights to the executive team, managing the companys financial planning, risk management, financial reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and forecasts that align with the companys overall goals.
Oversee all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to ensure financial objectives are met.
Manage the companys cash flow and liquidity, ensuring sufficient capital for operational needs and growth initiatives.
Identify and manage financial risks, implementing controls and strategies to mitigate risks.
Evaluate investment opportunities, capital structures, and financing strategies to optimize returns and minimize cost of capital.
Provide leadership to the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
Act as the key financial spokesperson for the organization, presenting financial performance and strategy to internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, investors, and auditors.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies, working with legal advisors to address any potential compliance issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Masters degree or CPA preferred).
Experience in real estate industry is a plus
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably as a CFO or VP of Finance.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, tax laws, regulations, and financial reporting.
Proven track record of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Experience in strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions, and fundraising is a plus.
Strong proficiency in financial software and systems, including ERP platforms.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret complex financial data.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
