JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Marketing & Communications Business Partner is based in the Philippines and will be primarily responsible for overseeing the APAC unit in the country, driving the departments goals in providing an integrated global approach to help CGI operations (global, regional, and local) enable business development, raise client awareness, and increase both CGI Partner engagement and talent awareness. This strategic role involves partnering with teams while planning and organizing time and resources to make relevant and impactful campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Align with the overall Marketing and Communications Team goals for the respective business and the country you support
Help execute global Marketing & Communications campaigns on your local and regional scope
Develop local internal and external Marketing and Communications strategies in support of the business strategic goals by partnering with internal and external stakeholders
Create and implement an integrated Marketing & Communications go-to-market strategy for Global Capability Centers.
Develop employer branding and talent acquisition strategies aligned with CGIs Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
Reinforce common messages and themes and ensure they tell a single CGI story
Draft internal and external communication pieces for various CGI channels, including E-mail, intranet, internal networking platforms, social media, and video platforms.
Create and implement executive visibility and thought leadership strategy by serving as a strategic counselor to boost the organizations brand and reputation through internal communications, media relations, and public affairs
Manage CGIs Annual Tour
Represent the department in leadership meetings involving local strategic planning and executions of CGIs internal and external activities
Other responsibilities:
Present plans, reports, and updates to the country leadership team
Coach and support direct reports for readiness in succession planning
Ensure the quality of the CGI Brand and compliance with all of the departments outputs
Maintain a tracker for tasks, escalations, and processes implemented within the department
Attendance at team level, country or regional level, and global-level meetings as required
Completion of training modules and globally mandated activities requiring employee input
Other duties assigned by the business or the Marketing & Communications Director related to CGIs business.
Quality and Compliance:
Ensure that team processes, aligned with the CGI Management Foundation, are adhered to.
Ensure that CGIs Data Privacy and Records Retention policies are adhered to.
Updates on any work processes should be compliant with management policies.
Actions arising from internal audits should be dealt with in a timely manner to ensure compliance and quality are maintained.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
A degree in Organizational Communication, Integrated Marketing & Communications, or a related field
With seven to ten years of experience in the field of Corporate Communications, Marketing, and related fields
Experience in team management
Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of AI applications that support copywriting primarily Grammarly, ChatGPT, etc.
Basic knowledge of the design functions of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Keen eye for detail and a strong sense of commitment to deadlines.
