Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Salary: 750,000 1.5M
Reports To: Managing Director / Board of Directors
Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Job Summary
The CFO will serve as a strategic financial partner to the MD and executive team, responsible for financial leadership, capital planning, risk management, and operational efficiency. The role includes oversight of finance, treasury, audit, compliance, and corporate governance functions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the organizations financial strategy.
Drive capital raising (equity, debt, blended finance) to support growth and project financing.
Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions and business development efforts.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, donor requirements, and tax obligations.
Supervise internal controls, audit processes, procurement, and cost optimization initiatives.
Build robust financial models and dashboards for investor reporting and board management.
Manage relationships with banks, investors, DFIs, auditors, and regulators.
Coach and develop the finance team to build a high-performance function.
Qualifications
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA is a plus.
Minimum 10 years experience in progressively senior finance roles, including executive leadership.
Professional certification: ICAN, ACCA, CFA or equivalent required.
Demonstrated experience with capital raising, financial structuring, and donor/investor reporting.
Proven ability to lead in a dynamic, high-growth organization.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
