Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Graduate IT Administrator to join our clients IT department. This multi-site role offers a unique opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and diverse environment. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in IT and administration , a willingness to learn, and an aptitude for problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems across multiple sites.
- Assess existing IT, communications and planning processes, identify & develop improvements
- Streamline processes between sites and companies ROI/NI/UK
- Again, multi-site role
- Provide technical support to employees, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Collaborate with staff to resolve technical problems promptly.
- Contribute to the administration of user accounts and permissions.
- Assist in monitoring network performance and ensuring its smooth operation.
- Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
- Overseeing everything from Printers to Wi-Fi and ensuring full support is provided and improvements made wherever needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
- Stay up to date with emerging IT trends and technologies.
- Train multi-national team members to maintain their own equipment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Basic understanding of IT principles, including hardware, software, networking, and security.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, or macOS) is a plus.
- Any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) will be advantageous.
