Job Description:

People are at the heart of their family and they are looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Manager to join their high performing team.
You will ensure that Quality Assurance Standard are adhered to and work in collaboration with the operations and maintenance teams to ensure the food safety and quality of all finished products produced
Core Responsibilities:
- Overall compliance to various food safety standards and relevant legislative requirements.
- Ensure that standards, policies, procedures and processes are up to date, fit for purpose and correctly implemented
- Ensure HACCP is fully implemented, and procedures and work instructions are always fully adhered to.
- Management and development of team members.
- Assist in regular administration and management of micro analysis system.
- Contribute to continual improvement objectives
- Ensure that full traceability is maintained throughout the process and assist in any product recall and traceability exercises.
- Monitor adherence to and completion of QC daily duties and tasks.
- Support training and provide instruction for hygiene team and ensure that site hygiene meets and exceeds DAFM, BRC and customer requirements.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other departments to reduce and successfully close out non conformances, and food safety/ quality related complaints.
- Support the successful achievement of DAFM, BRC and customer audits
- Assist with NPD and product specification updates, product trials etc.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years experience in a similar role within an FMCG company
- Quality Assurance experience within a high care/high risk food production, ideally in the meat industry
- Excellent knowledge of 3rd party/BRC standards and audits
- Internal auditor: accredited
- HACCP training: accredited
