Footwear Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Footwear Designer to lead the design and development of men's footwear collections. The role requires strong expertise in CAD design, trend forecasting, and end-to-end product development within a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative men's footwear collections aligned with brand identity and seasonal trends
• Create detailed CAD sketches and technical drawings for product development
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify emerging styles, materials, and colors
• Collaborate closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and timely delivery
• Develop mood boards, concepts, and color palettes for each season
• Select and source appropriate materials, trims, and components
• Work with vendors and manufacturers to ensure design accuracy and quality standards
• Oversee product lifecycle from concept to final production
• Ensure all designs meet commercial viability, cost targets, and brand positioning

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Footwear Design, Fashion Design, or related field
• 3–6 years of experience in footwear design, preferably within a retail or apparel brand
• Strong proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Solid understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Strong sense of fashion trends, color theory, and consumer preferences
• Experience in men's footwear (casual, formal, sports, or lifestyle categories)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
