About the job Key Account Manager
We are looking for a results-driven Key Account Executive with a strong background in the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing key client accounts, maintaining strong relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Experience in food service sales, understanding chefs' requirements, and working with hospitality professionals is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key HORECA clients including hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and institutional buyers.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Achieve sales targets through upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new product lines to existing accounts.
- Client Servicing: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, feedback, and resolving issues promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Product Customization: Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to understand specific requirements and coordinate with internal teams for tailored product solutions.
- Business Development: Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and potential new clients in the HORECA channel.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Track sales performance, prepare account reports, analyze trends, and present updates to the sales management team.
- Coordination: Work closely with logistics, R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and product excellence.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to recommend strategic actions.
- Tender & Contract Management: Participate in tender processes and maintain relationships with contract-based clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sales/account management within the HORECA sector.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-value accounts.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
- UAE driving license preferred (if applicable).
- Passion for food and hospitality is a plus.
