The Supply Chain Director leads and optimizes end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, logistics, inventory, and warehouse management. This role drives strategic initiatives, manages key supplier relationships, and ensures alignment with company goals to deliver a competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Strategy
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor industry trends to drive operational excellence and innovation.
- Ensure best-in-class practices and effective change management.
Planning & Procurement
- Oversee demand forecasting and supply planning to balance product availability and inventory optimization.
- Lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and vendor performance to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with procurement policies and ethical standards.
Logistics & Inventory Management
- Direct logistics and distribution operations for timely, cost-effective delivery.
- Optimize transportation, warehouse space, and inventory control practices.
- Drive performance improvement in logistics and supply chain systems.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Inspire and guide cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and C-suite executives.
- Oversee budgets, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Risk & Compliance
- Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and sustainability standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business (Masters preferred).
- 10+ years of relevant experience; 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in supply chain strategy, cost management, and process improvement.
- Strong ERP (e.g., SAP) and supplier management skills.
- Fluent in English and French; Arabic is an advantage.
