About the job Senior SAP Technical Support Consultant
To ensure the stable, secure, and high-performance operation of SAP systems by providing advanced technical support, system administration, troubleshooting, integration support, and continuous system improvements.
Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced SAP technical support including system performance tuning, monitoring, background job management, and issue resolution.

Perform ABAP debugging to identify issues and coordinate technical fixes with development teams.

Support SAP integrations including IDocs, RFCs, APIs, BAPIs, and middleware-based connections.

Manage, monitor, and coordinate transport requests across SAP system landscapes.

Assist in SAP upgrades, enhancement pack installations, patch applications, and system migrations.

Maintain accurate technical system documentation, architecture records, and integration maps.

Ensure SAP system uptime and stability through proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance.

Engage with stakeholders to understand technical issues and provide timely updates on status and resolution.

Coordinate with SAP vendors and technical partners for escalations and issue resolution.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP technical support or BASIS-style roles.

Strong experience in system performance tuning, ABAP debugging, job scheduling, and SAP monitoring.

Hands-on experience with SAP integrations: IDocs, RFCs, APIs, and middleware-based connections.

Knowledge of SAP authorization concepts and basic technical architecture.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in a related field.

Experience supporting SAP modules from a technical perspective: RE-FX, FI, SD, MM.

Exposure to cloud-hosted SAP environments (SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP).

Experience in public-sector or government organizations.
