Qualification:
- 5 years' experience and proven skills in pump & compressor maintenance management or its equivalent discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or its equivalent in any discipline.
- Experience in working within the Oil & Gas Sector will be considered an important advantage.
- Master's degree is an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Installing and repairing pumps/compressor and other equipment, including replacing motors, seals, bearings, and other parts as needed
- Inspecting pumps/compressor to determine any issues with wear and tear or damage, using adequate tools
- Performing tests on new pumps/compressors to ensure they are operating correctly before they are installed into the system
- Troubleshooting problems with pumps/compressors or other equipment to determine the cause of malfunctions
- Repairing or replacing seals, bearings, couplings, or other components on pumps/compressors
- Review the pump/compressor schedule daily to ensure that the program is indeed triggering automated flow
- Uphold all Health and Safety regulation, policies and practices and report any anomalies and deviations.
- Writing up reports, safety, regulations, and preventive maintenance plans
