The Opportunity

You would be responsible for the application of spatial technologies and systems, including data capture, spatial analysis and visualization, data management and spatial data dissemination acquired through Geographic Information Systems (GIS). You would independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. You would assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents.

KBR is committed to supporting our staff which is why we are offering a salary range of $70,000-$80,000

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Geographic Information Science, Geomatic Engineering or Spatial Sciences).
  • Up to 2 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience manipulating and analysing complex spatial data
  • Experience using Esri ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro and Auto CAD.
  • Knowledge of geographic data and principles of data management.
  • Experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
  • Ability to work both as a member of a team and in an unsupervised capacity
  • Efficient management of time and prioritisation of tasks
