Job Description:

PDP are currently seeking a highly skilled DeltaV Automation Engineer to join our team for an exciting project in Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Process Design Team to translate P&IDs into Automation Process/Functional Descriptions, serving as an interim document between P&IDs, Process Technical Specifications, Process Flow Diagrams, and Automation Functional Specifications.

• Act as the interface between Process Engineering (for the EPCM) and the Automation System Integrator, effectively communicating process operation and interpretation into DeltaV system design within an S88 structure.

• Utilize experience in Automation design for Black and Clean Utilities in the Lifesciences/Pharma/Biotech industry, including WFI, Purified Water, Clean Steam, Chiller Controls, and Process Air Distribution.

• Assist in translating Process Design into Process Narratives/Functional Descriptions, collaborating with the Process Design Team to facilitate the creation of Automation Functional Specifications (FS).

• Provide support to the Commissioning Team for DeltaV-related troubleshooting and implementation of corrections via Change Controls.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum BS in Engineering or Facility Management, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, Facility, Industrial, Quality, or Pharmaceutical Engineering.

• Languages: Fluent in English (speaking and writing).

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Biotech or Pharmaceutical cGMP environments is required.

• Broad knowledge of engineering disciplines, automation, commissioning, compliance, qualification, and quality aspects of biopharma or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
