PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

We are seeking a strategic and innovative Product Launch Consultant to join our Cards & Payments team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role will focus on launching core products, including co-branded offerings, ensuring each product is designed with competitive benefits and features that drive value and enhance the customer experience. The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end product launches, offering solutions that are customer-centric and aligned with market trends.

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of relevant products and co-branded launches
  • Define launch objectives, timelines, and metrics, emphasizing high-impact features that address customer needs
  • Manage the end-to-end launch process, ensuring seamless collaboration across technology, marketing, operations, and customer support teams
  • Collaborate and integrate value-driven features, such as point multipliers, exclusive discounts, and lifestyle benefits, to maximize customer engagement
  • Analyse competitor offerings to identify gaps and opportunities, ensuring all products deliver a superior value
  • Serve as the main point of contact for cross-functional teams, managing feedback, dependencies, and project momentum
  • Identify and mitigate any risks associated with new features, work closely with Compliance and Legal teams to address regulatory and operational challenges

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in product launch & management within the financial services or payments industry
  • Proven expertise in product development, especially around benefit and feature integration that drives customer value
  • Knowledge of the regional banking landscape, including customer preferences and regulatory requirements
  • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional product launches
  • Analytical thinker with a solid understanding of customer behaviour and market trends.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey benefits and value propositions effectively
  • Proven experience leading product launches from concept to execution including market readiness, rollout planning, and post-launch performance tracking

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred)
  • Familiarity with regional regulations, and Vision 2030 initiatives impacting the payments landscape
