JOB PURPOSE:
The Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring the team embraces Agile values and principles, and follows the processes and practices the team has collectively agreed. They lead from a position of influence, not command and control, and ensure that the team is free of obstacles and distractions so they can focus on their work. The Delivery Manager is a Scrum expert and coaches the team if they are new to Agile, or provides more mature teams with ongoing guidance to transition from doing Agile to being Agile. Will have overview on the delivery of work for the Service team within scope and timelines.
Coordinate with other Scrum teams across service lines as relevant to ensure organized and timely delivery of cross functional deliverable items on Digital channels that include Internet, Mobile, SMS, Wearable banking platforms.

Generic Accountability
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies as a servant leader to newly formed Service team
- Support the team in maximising their full potential without coercion, assigning, or dictating who does the work or how it is carried out
- Identify impediments, resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
- Coach the team on how to use the Agile framework, and guide them to greater Agile maturity (being Agile vs doing Agile)
- Help build a productive environment where team members feel a collective responsibility, and are able to voice opinions and concerns
- Partner with Product Owner and Service Owners to handle backlog and new requests
- Ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria and quality standards
- Be the point of contact for the team and effectively manage business expectations in collaboration with the Product Owner
- Where there are interdependencies, communicate and co-ordinate with other Scrum Masters to orchestrate technical collaboration between teams
- Monitor value delivered by the team, and facilitate team retrospectives to identify ways to optimize value creation for business users and customers
- Responsible for the delivery of the features / initiatives for their Service Team. They make sure that requirements are on the backlog, are prioritized and worked upon for timely implementation.
- Maintaining / tracking the program schedule and ensure timely reporting /escalation
- Maintaining / tracking / reporting the project risks / issues / change register for avoiding any impact on the program delivery
- Ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures throughout the program execution cycle

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelors degree in related discipline.
- Project Management Professional (PMP)/Scrum Master certification is mandatory.
- SAFe certification & Cloud certifications are desirable.
Minimum Experience
- 14+ years of experience in the Banking/Fintech/IT sector with at-least 4 years of exposure to Mobile & Internet banking projects / programs.
- Should have considerable knowledge regarding Project management methodologies (traditional & agile), good acquaintance to Project management tools and Mobile App release mechanisms.
- Deep expertise in Scrum, with exposure to one or more scaling frameworks. Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM / PSM / SSM / PMI-ACP) & AWS cloud ( Cloud practinioner/Developer/etc) is preferred.
- Strong influencer and a good communicator.
- Understanding of software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of banking products, digital channels (especially Mobile and Internet Banking) and services
- Strong technical background to work with multiple teams across the bank and should be able to understand the application architecture.
- Good understnaind of the infra connectivities and third party integrations.
- Experience of working in fast paced, challenging environment.
- Ensure stakeholder management, clear communication and timely reporting
- Good understanding to the technical application security, compliance and audit requirements. Hands-on experience in implementing complex projects/programs.
- Experience in coaching and coordinating agile delivery squads to deliver solutions as efficiently as possible
- Experience in supporting the product owner in backlog refinement to a level which is acceptable for the team to estimate and deliver
- Ability to plan 2 steps ahead of the team and surface hidden risks
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to ensure requirements are delivered and to ensure customer satisfaction
- Hands on experience as Project Manager - Ability to manage more than one project at a time.
- Ability to prepare the Business case, project estimates, cost templates and monitoring throughout the project lifecycle by taking support from relevant stakeholders wherever needed.
- Resolve any challenges on projects to enable the teams to deliver on time
- Provides report on status of the project under execution, challenges, risk and mitigation plan
- Good knowledge regarding monitoring of production release of multiple Mobile/Internet banking features that have dependencies within and outside service lines
- Hands on experience in using various Project Management Tools
- Experience in Vendor/partner management
- Has practical exposure to DevOps (CI/CD) and has worked on cloud and micro-services based projects
