Project Manager - Payment Cards

6. Language requirements: English fluency and French would be desirable.

Role

• End-to-end project management of the VCN installments implementation project, including planning, execution, and closure
• Manage and monitor project schedules, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution of any issues or deviations from project plans
• Coordinate and facilitate project meetings and project status reports with Mastercard and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution of activities leading to launch
• Ensure project documentation is up-to-date, complete, and accessible to all stakeholders
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management
• Build and maintain relationships with project vendors and workstream owners, ensuring their work is aligned with project objectives and deliverables
• Ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards, including conducting final quality reviews and sign-off
• Would be desired if the resource could provide advice on various topics
• How to run a card business (business economics and operating model)
• Highlighting key risks (fraud, settlement, recons, chargebacks)
• Highlighting how to manage the Go to market strategy

Requirements, experience and skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., project management, business, technology)
• 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on end-to-end project management of complex projects in the payments domain and knowledge or running card business
• Extensive experience working on payment/card product and proposition launches in multiple markets
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and manage project risks
• Experience managing schedules, and resources, with a focus on delivering projects on time to the required quality standards.
