Data Analyst- Payment Operations & Authorisation

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Contract Duration: 6-months, with possible extension

Overview of the role

We are looking for a data analyst to work on payment operations & authorization topics for a credit card division of a major bank in Indonesia.

Roles & Responsibility

• Conduct analysis using BI tools and raw data to perform various assessments related to payment authorization and transactions that may be fraudulent or suspicious.
• Identify the root cause of payment authorization declines. This involves conducting a deep dive on various parameters to identify opportunities for improvement and the necessary actions to take.
• Create descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analyses. These will aid in understanding the factors impacting various payment and risk issues.
• Perform an analysis on payment and host parameters, aiming to optimize configurations.
• Monitor and track the performance of different payment parameters, identifying trends and patterns that can inform future strategies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement the findings from the analysis.
• Regularly update and present findings to stakeholders, ensuring they have the necessary information to make informed decisions.

Requirements

• Between 2-8 years of work experience
• Ability to use pivot table, BI tools, and SQL queries to perform data analysis
• Ability to distill insights and identify issue root cause from data analysis
• Knowledge of financial services, payments, credit cards, authorization, frauds are beneficial
• Good communication knowledge in Indonesian and English
• Ability to work full-time at office location
