Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CyberSource Consultant to support a growing Cybersource / Value-Added Services (VAS) business for a South African bank. This role requires a dedicated resource who will provide merchant onboarding and integration support, ensuring a seamless experience for the bank and their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support and Issue Resolution:

  • Provide first-line support for any basic technical issues that arise.
  • Raise project requests for new features that need to be enabled or are required for compliance with mandates.
  • Support the resolution of technical issues by raising tickets with the support team and prioritizing their resolution.

2. Implementation and Integration:

  • Assist with the implementation and integration activities for large merchants, Payment Facilitators, and Payment Service Providers (PSPs).
  • Support testing of new features such as Apple Pay, Network Tokenization, and other emerging technologies.
  • Provide configuration and enablement support on the CyberSource platform.

3. Client Support and Training:

  • Offer ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-implementation to post-implementation.
  • Conduct product training sessions for merchants and PSPs to ensure they are well-versed in using the CyberSource platform.
  • Provide support while pitching the CyberSource gateway to new customers, including presentation, upsell, and presales activities.

4. Strategic Advisory:

  • Suggest new solutions that could be beneficial for the partner and their customers.
  • Manage merchant API implementations and MID onboarding processes.
  • Handle prioritization with schemes and issuers on declines and ensure mandate and compliance management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Client Success Manager, Technical Account Manager, or similar role with a focus on CyberSource/Acceptance products.
  • Strong technical background with experience in merchant API implementation and integration.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to upsell and conduct presales activities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the CyberSource platform, including configuration, enablement, and product training.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely and effective support for partners and clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with payment gateways, payment facilitators, and PSPs.
  • Familiarity with emerging payment technologies such as Apple Pay and Network Tokenization.
  • Knowledge of mandate and compliance management within the payment industry.

Additional Information:

The bank is looking for a permanent staff member; however, we would like to first proceed with a 12-month period to evaluate the performance of this approach. After 12 months, we will decide on the way forward
