Mastercard will provide a dedicated operations professional with 10 years of payment acquiring experience (Acquiring Specialist) to be contracted exclusively for the Client for 12 (twelve) months.
The roles and responsibilities of the Acquiring Specialist are the following:
- Program assessment and planning:
- Develop a deep understanding of client business priorities and local market (UAE) dynamics.
- Assess client-specific opportunities and risks, handle all aspects on scheme pricing including interchange.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Technology, Operations, Sales Channels, Compliance etc.) to map out product operations and frameworks.
- Own the product strategy, P&L management, strategic partnerships, and revenue generation for Acquiring business
- Develop business cases for new product/process development, from ideation to launch
- Deployment and implementation of initiatives:
- Implement the priority value realization activities with rigor, discipline, and focus on Client impact;
- Deploy selected optimal mix of Payment Scheme products and services needed to improve Clients business performance;
- Coordinate with resources, Scheme, Client as well as 3rd parties to ensure sustained quality of Client activities (deliverables and timelines);
- Ensure compliance with scheme mandates and regulations; and
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and Collaborate with the team to optimize pricing strategies;
- Review P&L lines for Acquiring business to ensure financial feasibility; and
- Actively and efficiently liaison with Mastercard Product, and Account Management functions with feedback;
- Monitoring and ongoing analysis of progress:
- Continuously track performance of relevant target portfolios, products and services;
- Create value visibility for priority initiatives across relevant metrics and KPIs with action-driving dashboard;
- Set up and manage a client control tower to improve speed and quality of decision making;
