Term and deployment model: minimum 6 months, with the possibility to extend. Minimum 4 days on site at Sydney offices.
Experience: 4-7 years
Key recruitment requirements/skillset for the BA candidate:
- Strong Analytical Skills: The candidate should possess excellent analytical abilities to accurately interpret and manage financial data. They must be able to perform detailed data reconciliation and identify discrepancies efficiently
- Experience with Financial Systems: Proficiency in using financial software and systems is crucial. Familiarity with mainframe/ERP accounting software is highly preferred
- Attention to Detail: We need someone with a keen eye for detail. Accuracy is paramount in cashflow management and data reconciliation, and the ideal candidate should consistently demonstrate precision in their work
- Problem-Solving Skills: The candidate should be adept at identifying and resolving issues related to cashflow discrepancies and data inaccuracies. They should be proactive in finding solutions and ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date
- Communication Skills: Effective communication is key in this role. The candidate must be able to clearly communicate with team members, stakeholders, and external partners to resolve any issues and provide insights into financial data
- Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively is essential. The candidate should demonstrate strong organizational skills to handle various aspects of data reconciliation and cashflow management
- Educational Background: A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or additional training in financial management would be an added advantage
- Experience: Prior experience in a similar role, particularly in cashflow management and data reconciliation, is highly desirable. The candidate should have a proven track record of handling financial data with accuracy and efficiency.
Deliverables/outputs:
- Provide daily support in managing data failures, implementing fixes, and assisting the Ops team in stabilising reconciliation before unreconciled values escalate further.
- Conduct an end-to-end data linage and process review of Worldwide Wallet from Mastercard through to Westpac reconciliations to find weak and broken points and recommend process improvements to solve issues.
- Managing issues tracker and associated actions. Can ensure issues are well defined and actions are clear.
- Manage stakeholders if new issues arise to ensure they are clearly defined and ensure actions are closed out when agreed.
- Produce data linage and process flows, highlighting weak points and breakpoints.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design process and data enhancements (e.g. requirements gathering and process re-design).
- Co-ordinate key stakeholders to validate and test process and data enhancements.
- Product documentation which includes recommendations/improvements which is actionable.
