Role- Cards Systems Project Manager
Location- Dubai

Reports to- Head of Cards Technology
Relevant experience- 8-10 years experience in Cards Technology
Mandatory requirements- English (Arabic is a plus), Technical Cards System & Technology Project Management, Preferred: Knowledge of UAE local regulations and Consumer Protection Regulations, particularly in relation to digital onboarding processes
Tasks
Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Design, deliver, and execute projects related to a digital onboarding system for new cards acquisition.
- Act as project manager for strategic projects, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant SDLC processes including requirement gathering, developing functional specifications, process flow mapping, testing, and implementation.
- Resolve bottlenecks by involving relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide periodic updates to client management.
- Act as a bridge between technical team and Product/Business teams to ensure smooth implementation.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for implementation projects.
- Coordinate activities across technical teams, ensuring smooth execution.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues.

Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., project management, engineering, technology)
- 7 years+ of experience in project management, with a focus on end-to end project management of complex digital technology projects within the banking / payments domain
- Strong experience with Card Management Systems (CMS) and Straight Through Processing (STP)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and manage project risks
- Experience managing schedules, and resources, with a focus on delivering projects on time to the required quality standards.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of the SLDC and operational elements of IT/Release management within a Banking domain
- Understand of IT infrastructure and systems integration.
- Understanding of all systems in a Payments architecture Card Management System (CMS), Payment Gateway, Core Banking Fraud Detection, Authorization, Clearing and Settlement and Network Infrastructure.
- Experience in coordinating with third-party vendors and IT teams.
- Preferred: Knowledge of UAE local regulations and Consumer Protection Regulations, particularly in relation
to digital onboarding processes
Mandatory Skills**
- Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus),
- Domain experience in cards technology (especially straight through processing and virtual cards technology)
- Technical skills in project management
