Role

Program assessment and planning

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Client business and priorities;
  • Evaluate and quantify client-specific opportunities and risks in the local market context and embed in realistic business cases;
  • Bring an outside-in perspective;
  • Leverage Mastercard tools/data to benchmark Client performance for value creation potential against competitors operating in the local market; and
  • Integrate insights from recent market trends into business performance improvement plans.

Deployment and implementation of initiatives

  • Set up a Center of Engagement to coordinate across key, often concurrent, Mastercard initiatives;
  • Implement the priority value realization activities with rigor, discipline, and focus on Client impact;
  • Deploy selected optimal mix of Mastercard products and services needed to improve Clients business performance;
  • Coordinate resources, Mastercard, Client as well as 3rd parties to ensure sustained quality of Client activities (deliverables, timelines and data access); and
  • Actively and efficiently liaison with Mastercard Product, and Account Management functions with feedback.

Monitoring and ongoing analysis of progress

  • Continuously track performance of relevant target portfolios, products and services;
  • Create value visibility for priority initiatives across relevant metrics and KPIs with action-driving dashboard;
  • Set up and manage a client control tower to improve speed and quality of decision making; and
  • Keep Client up to date with relevant competitive intelligence and market trends.

Qualifications/ expectations required:

  • 10 years Relevant experience in transformation programs with significant experience as program manager
  • Knowledge: Strong payment background, international standards related to banks and payment
  • Experience with banks, payments, and digital business
  • Strong team player, results driven and high level of energy & initiative
  • People and workstream management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
