Job Summary:
The SME product specialist will be responsible for managing and scaling our SME credit card programs, developing, and implementing strategies to grow the portfolio, and ensuring the profitability and sustainability of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Management:
- Develop and implement product strategies and initiatives to meet the needs of SME clients.
- Design innovative credit card products and features tailored to the SME segment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and operations to launch and promote new products.
- Play a pivotal role in enhancing the onboarding process for SME clients, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience from initiation to utilization.
- Sales support
- Take an active role in supporting sales initiatives
- Support client with opening of new distribution channels within the CPGs Pharma trade and spearhead initiatives for supply chain digitization among SMEs.
- Explore and evaluate potential partnerships to further enhance product offerings and market reach.
- Lead training initiatives for RMs and develop educational programs to enhance SME client engagement and satisfaction.
- Portfolio Management:
- Monitor and analyse the performance of the SME credit card portfolio, including profitability, utilization, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the portfolio and develop strategies to address them.
- Optimize pricing, fees, and rewards to maximize revenue and customer retention.
- Scaling the Business
- Develop and execute growth strategies to expand the SME credit card business.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities and partnerships to increase market share.
- Implement marketing and promotional campaigns to attract new SME clients and increase card usage.
- Deepen involvement in every aspect of process enhancement, conducting thorough reviews and researches to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Risk Management:
- Monitor and manage credit risk, fraud risk, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to protect the business and customers.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including SME clients, partners, and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with sales teams to train and support them in promoting and selling SME credit card products.
Experience and Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or relevant professional qualification is a plus.
· Minimum of 10+ years of experience in credit card product management, preferably in the SME segment.
· Proven track record of managing and scaling SME credit card programs.
· Strong understanding of the SME market, financial products, and regulatory environment in the Middle East.
· Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
