Purpose of Job:

The purpose of this job is to oversee the pre and post-implementation of payment applications and integrations for various mass transit projects in Punjab. This includes ensuring seamless execution, high performance, and successful deployment of payment systems across multiple transit networks. The role involves managing the installation of payment applications, coordinating system integrations, and leading the deployment of electric buses, all while supporting the One Passenger One Card initiative for inter-city and intra-city transport networks in Punjab. The ultimate goal is to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the mass transit systems in the region.

Tasks:

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Manage the implementation of payment applications in turnstile validators, bus validators, handheld validators, and POS machines.
  • Oversee software and hardware scheme certifications and related testing.
  • Ensure successful system-based testing and Mastercard MPGS (gateway) platform integration.
  • Coordinate NAC integration for conventional acquiring.
  • Facilitate system integrations with PITB (AFC-BSS), IRIS, Euronet, MPGS, NAC, etc.
  • Lead the deployment of EV buses for Lahore and manage the transition of additional EV buses.
  • Support the One Passenger One Card initiative for inter-city and intra-city Punjab transport network.

KPIs

  • Successful installation and certification of payment applications.
  • Timely completion of system integrations.
  • High performance and reliability of payment systems.
  • Effective management of project timelines and milestones (budget, risk and scope)
  • Positive feedback from stakeholders and clients.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Project Management certification (e.g PMP)
  • Extensive experience on Payments Acquiring including technical systems
  • Solid understanding of Payments/Card Issuing and processes
  • In-depth knowledge of mass transit systems and payment applications.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations and certifications.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects in the financial services and consulting industries.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and standards in Punjab, Pakistan.

Mandatory Skills**

  • Technical skills in payment application installation and system integrations.

  • Relevant certifications in project management and payment systems.
