Job Title: Sales Manager - Portfolio Sales

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

As a Sales Manager Portfolio Sales, the role will drive strategic growth and innovation in commercial and/ or corporate cards, virtual payments, and fintech partnerships across the GCC region. The position holder will have extensive experience in business development, client acquisition, and market expansion within banks, hospitality, travel, and government areas. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and the ability to foster impactful business relationships with key clients and partners.

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Drive acquisition and relationship management for corporate/ commercial card solutions across internal, external and enterprise clients.
  • Develop and execute strategies for market expansion and client acquisition across key regions.
  • Prospect, pitch, and close corporate/ commercial card deals (T&E, B2B, Corporate, Purchasing, Virtual Cards).
  • Deliver consultative selling on spend management, controls, and working capital benefits.
  • Manage pipelines, proposals, pricing, and end-to-end deal cycle.
  • Partner with RMs, Product, and Implementation for seamless onboarding.
  • Achieve sales targets for billed volume, ENR, and revenue.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previous sales & business development experience in corporate/ commercial cards & solutions, or B2B payment sales.
  • The ability to drive fintech and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Experience in managing high-value portfolios and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Competent and adept with AI business strategy, team leadership, business development, client acquisition, market expansion, project management, and process optimisation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP solutions, and high-tech systems.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Previous sales & business development experience within Banking, Payment & Card solutions, or the FinTech industry
  • Strategic thinker with a growth mindset, including excellent relationship management and negotiation skills
  • The ability to drive innovation and deliver measurable outcomes in competitive environments.
  • Strong communication skills in Arabic and English are mandatory

Preferred Skills:

  • Regional experience across the GCC. Including previous experience in leading local banks, payment companies, or travel technology companies
  • Experience in managing regional operations and strategic accounts
  • Exposure to global markets and collaboration with international teams
