Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Digital Payments

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

Lead the PMO delivery effort for the digital-bank setup, providing senior oversight across the major workstreams and ensuring that governance, risks, dependencies, and executive decisions remain aligned with the launch roadmap.

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Build and maintain an integrated delivery roadmap covering business, digital, marketing, technology, finance, operations, and customer-service workstreams.
  • Define and track milestones, deliverables, owners, dependencies, risks, open decisions, and mitigation actions through go-live.
  • Prepare governance forums, agendas, decision points, meeting materials, action logs, and follow-up reporting.
  • Monitor workstream and squad progress, identify blockers or scope gaps, and coordinate resolution across teams.
  • Produce clear status dashboards and management reporting covering schedule, quality, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
  • Support change management, adoption of new ways of working, and readiness activities for launch.
  • Lead PMO coordination and provide direction to the Project Manager and workstream owners.
  • Escalate critical delivery issues and frame options and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure governance decisions are translated into accountable actions with clear owners and deadlines.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Former consulting experience leading PMO teams, preferably within banking or digital-transformation programs.
  • Strong program governance, executive stakeholder management, risk management, and cross-functional delivery experience.
  • Ability to lead complex, multi-workstream initiatives in an onsite client environment.
  • The ability to work onsite in Morocco throughout the assignment.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred), including project management certification.
  • Previous experience within Banking, Digital Payment & Card solutions, or the FinTech industry.
  • Regional experience, including working in a faced-paced matrix organisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; English, French and/or Arabic capability is advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

  • The ability to analyse data, troubleshoot payment issues, optimize processes, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Good understanding of payment systems, digital platforms, system workflows, security basics, and industry technologies.
