PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
The Technical Project Manager will serve as the primary representative to a leading commercial bank, leading the end-to-end delivery of products, technology integrations, and digital payment solutions. The role will ensure seamless coordination between global and regional teams and the clients technical and business stakeholders, overseeing project planning, execution, and implementation. The role will oversee successful deployment of technologies, maintain high service and quality standards, and strengthen our strategic partnership through effective communication, technical expertise, and project governance.
Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Onboarding client value partnerships, negotiating & managing contracts
- Client Value Proposition (CVP) partner management
- Administration and Management of the internal service unit
- Transaction Control Business Requirements Documents (BRD), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including Implementation and Promoting
- Mass Segment CVP revamp and Card re-carding
- Mass & Sadara segment token review and clean up
- Implementation of the bank regulations of cash withdrawal limit on credit portfolios
- Authorisation & decline management
Knowledge and Experience:
- Good understanding of the payment networks
- Knowledge of card products (credit, debit, prepaid) and digital payment solutions (e.g., contactless, tokenization)
- Previous experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Ability to create/manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Understanding of testing lifecycle, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven project management experience, managing end-to-end technical projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
- Payments/Banking Knowledge, good understanding of card products, payment networks, and banking operations
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively including being able to translate business requirements (BRD) into technical deliverables
Preferred Skills:
- A background in banking, knowledge of local regulations and compliance
- Experience with implementation of card/payment solutions with banks or fintech's
