PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled manager to serve as a dedicated resource for the one of the biggest banks in Kuwait. This role will focus on Active Portfolio Management, driving strategic campaigns to enhance cardholder acquisition and engagement. The resource will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and optimising portfolio campaigns, while ensuring seamless coordination between the bank and key stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Plan, launch, and execute portfolio campaigns aimed at increasing card acquisition and cardholders spend
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of campaign effectiveness to ensure delivery of business objectives
- Collaborate with key teams across Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Operations to ensure smooth implementation
- Act as the central point of contact to track progress and address bottlenecks
- Track campaign KPIs and performance metrics on an ongoing basis
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to maximize ROI and portfolio growth
- Facilitate knowledge sharing with the required teams to build internal portfolio management capabilities
Knowledge and Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in portfolio management, marketing campaign management, and/ or financial services
- Previous exposure to credit cards, payments, or banking industries preferred
- Experience managing multiple strategic initiatives or projects simultaneously
- The ability to influence decisions, present portfolio updates, and ensure alignment across business units
- Previous experience in using data to make recommendations, optimize portfolio value, and mitigate risks
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and drive actionable insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA is a plus)
- The ability to anticipate market trends, identify growth opportunities, and align portfolio decisions
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and assessing risks to optimize portfolio value and ensure profitable outcomes
