Job Title: Database Administrator
Location: Makati City
Work Set-up: Hybrid

Job Description

• Manage and oversee daily database operations to ensure optimal performance and availability
• Monitor database performance and conduct regular health checks to maintain fast response times
• Implement upgrades, patches, and access controls to safeguard data security
• Develop and maintain database backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity
• Troubleshoot database issues and resolve service tickets within SLA timelines
• Work closely with IT Operations, Project Managers, and Development Teams to maintain database integrity
• Supervise and support the Junior Database Administrator
• Ensure compliance with information security and operational standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience as a Database Administrator
• Experience managing and optimizing enterprise database environments
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams
