Manufacturing Manager

A growing electronics manufacturing company in southwest Houston, is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead our production team in our state-of-the-art electronics assembly facility. As Manufacturing Manager, you will oversee all aspects of production, from planning to process implementation.

Standard working hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 am 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies, plans, and schedules to meet production goals
• Lead and manage production supervisors and assembly teams

• Ensure optimal workflow and utilization of machinery, equipment, and resources

• Collaborate with engineering on new product introductions and process improvements

• Monitor key performance indicators for quality, cost, delivery, and safety

• Identify opportunities for increased efficiency, capability, and scalability

• Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment

• Manage capital projects for new equipment and facility upgrades

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or related field or equivalent related work experience

• 5+ years of experience managing electronics assembly production

• Strong familiarity with IPC 610 and 620 manufacturing standards

• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes

• Experience working with ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100D quality management standards

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing data analysis

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-mix production environment

• Passion for innovating manufacturing technologies and processes
