HR Supervisor

Location: Dominican Republic (Zone Parks)

Modality: On-site (with floor interaction)
Reports to: HR Manager / Plant Manager
Team: HR Coordinators / Analysts (depending on plant size)
Languages: Spanish (required) | English (desired B2/C1)


Role Objective

Lead and supervise key Human Resources functions within an industrial environment: training & development, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and regulatory compliance, fostering a culture of safety, performance, and productivity aligned with plant goals.


️ Key Responsibilities

  • Training & Development: Design, coordinate, and measure T&D programs (onboarding, upskilling, leadership) with KPI-based results and shop-floor impact.
  • Employee Relations: Manage work climate, discipline, investigations, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair treatment and compliance with the Dominican Labor Code.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Support payroll validation, variable control, salary reviews, incentives, and TSS compliance.
  • Policies & Compliance: Implement policies aligned with local labor law and corporate standards (internal/external audits).
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with talent acquisition (operational and staff), induction, and onboarding processes.
  • HR Analytics: Maintain accurate HR records and produce regular reports (turnover, absenteeism, overtime, accidents, internal NPS).
  • Business Partnering: Advise management on talent strategies, employee engagement, and productivity within the plant.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 35 years of HR experience (at least 2 years in industrial and/or free zone or supervisory roles).
  • Solid knowledge of Dominican labor law, TSS, compensation structures, and training methodologies.
  • Proficiency in HR systems (SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar) and Microsoft Office.
  • Skills: communication, leadership, conflict management, results orientation.
  • English: desired B2+ level.
