Role Mission: The mission for the Events Pack Leader is to increase brand awareness in the Spokane/Coeur DAlene area and connect with our community - showing why we are different and how we can work together to save the lives of pregnant dogs and puppies in the South.
Summary: The Events Pack Leader enhances local brand awareness by building community partnerships and organizing events in the Spokane/CDA area, with a focus on integrating fundraising and improving event processes. They lead and collaborate with other PHR Pack Leaders to align with the Rescues mission and Core Values, while also coordinating event teams, managing training of new team members, and maintaining accurate records to optimize resource allocation and community engagement.
Rescue Mission: At Path of Hope Rescue we save pregnant dogs and puppies in high kill shelters in the South.
Rescue Overview: Our Spokane, WA based Rescue strives to decrease the euthanasia rate of high risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. We do not have a kennel or building location and are 100% foster based We currently have two paid employees and rely heavily on volunteers and fosters.
Vision: Eliminating euthanasia of dogs in the South by decreasing the amount of dogs breeding unchecked. Becoming the number one dog destination in Spokane and capitalizing on Spokanes love of Rescue Dogs.

Job Description
The Events Pack Leader is responsible for significantly enhancing local brand awareness and community engagement for the Rescue in the Spokane/CDA area. This role involves organizing and executing a minimum of two events per month, with a strong preference for four or more during the warmer months. These events are crucial for raising awareness and funds, including one major annual fundraising event such as a gala or brewfest. The Events Pack Leader actively seeks out and nurtures business partnerships, both new and existing, to ensure ongoing support for the Rescues mission. They also find creative ways to incorporate revenue streams into events, ensuring each one not only raises awareness but also contributes financially to the organization.
In addition to event planning and execution, the Events Pack Leader is committed to increasing the professionalism and impact of all events. They focus on improving branding, materials, and setup to create a polished and cohesive experience that reflects the Rescues Core Values. The Pack Leader is also responsible for leading and training the Event Team, developing comprehensive training programs to ensure team members are well-prepared and motivated. Through meticulous planning, strong partnerships, and a commitment to excellence, the Events Pack Leader ensures that every event is a success, driving both community engagement and financial support for the Rescues mission.
