Role Mission: Lead a dynamic web team in creating a user-friendly, engaging, and optimized online presence that drives awareness, supports adoption efforts, and strengthens community involvement.
Summary: The Web Squad Lead will oversee the User Experience (UX), Design, Blog, SEO, and Website Updates, ensuring that all online platforms reflect the Rescue’s mission and values. This role is responsible for creating an intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing website that enhances the user journey, maximizes visibility, and drives traffic to key initiatives such as adoptions, donations, and volunteer opportunities. The Web Squad Lead will collaborate with team members to deliver regular updates, optimize content for search engines, and develop strategies that increase community engagement and support for the Rescue’s goals.
Rescue Mission: At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. We are 100% foster based and rely on volunteers and fosters to help in our mission.
Vision: Eliminating euthanasia of dogs in the South by decreasing the amount of dogs breeding unchecked. Becoming the number one ‘dog destination’ in Spokane and capitalizing on Spokane’s love of Rescue Dogs.

The Web Squad Lead will play a pivotal leadership role in guiding the UX, Design, Blog, SEO, and Website Updates teams, ensuring that their work aligns with the overarching goals of the Rescue and presents a cohesive brand message. This individual will foster a collaborative environment, encouraging innovation and open communication among team members to create a seamless user experience across all digital platforms. By overseeing the design and execution of visually appealing and user-centered web pages, the Web Squad Lead will ensure that the website not only meets technical and aesthetic standards but also effectively drives traffic toward critical goals like adoptions, donations, and community engagement.
As a central figure within the Multimedia Pack, the Web Squad Lead will serve as the communication bridge between the web team and other multimedia efforts, such as social media and dog ad content, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging across all channels. This role requires ongoing collaboration with the content creation, and digital marketing teams to align messaging and timing, creating a unified voice that strengthens the Rescue’s mission. The Web Squad Lead will also work closely with leadership to implement strategies for SEO and content development, optimizing the rescue’s visibility and ensuring that all digital touchpoints contribute to a strong, recognizable brand that resonates with donors, volunteers, adopters, and supporters alike.
