A DevOps Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations, automating and streamlining the software delivery process, and ensuring collaboration and communication between cross-functional teams to achieve continuous integration and deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Implement integrations requested by customers;
• Deploy updates and fixes;
• Provide Level 2 technical support;
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience;
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems;
• Perform root cause analysis for production systems errors;
• Investigate and resolve technical issues;
• Develop scripts to automate visualization;
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role;
• Good knowledge of Python;
• Working knowledge of databases (Mysql, postgresql etc) and SQL;
• Problem-solving attitude;
• Good knowledge of IBM ESB or IBM Integration pack;
• Experience in developing/engineering applications for a large company;
• Experience with Git system;
• Good knowledge of Linux systems;
• Bachelors or Masters qualification in computer science or engineering.
